Family Medicine with Obstetrics
Dr. Syverson is delighted to offer obstetric services to women in the Benson area at the ACMC-Benson Clinic and is partnering with Glacial Ridge Health System to deliver babies at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. She also performs caesarean sections and will be on-call throughout the year at Glacial Ridge Hospital.
Returning to Benson where she grew up, Dr. Syverson provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages and their families. Dr. Syverson received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She went on to earn her Medical Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, and recently completed her Family Medicine Residency at Idaho State.
She’s always been passionate about caring for others and doing so through medicine is both exciting and fulfilling to her. She chose to deliver babies in Glenwood because she felt very supported by the hospital and other providers. Dr. Syverson feels Glacial Ridge Hospital is a very safe and welcoming place to deliver babies.
In her spare time, Dr. Syverson and her husband enjoy spending as much time as they can outdoors with their daughter. In true Minnesota fashion, they enjoy hiking, fishing, skiing, gardening, camping and spending time at the lake with friends and family.
Dr. Syverson also speaks some Spanish.
